About CAP

Civil Air Patrol's three-fold mission includes Emergency Services, Aerospace Education, and Cadet Program.

"We are very proud...our members provide vital life-saving emergency services, mentor our young members and educate the public on the importance of air and space supremacy for America. We devote our time and resources to make each of our communities, and ultimately our nation, a better place to live, work and raise our families."

~Brig. General Amy Courter

What We Do

The Civil Air Patrol conducts 95% of all inland search and rescue in the United States, performs aerial reconnaissance for homeland security, and saves an average of 100 lives per year.
