Adult Men and Women (Senior Program)

If you are at least 18 and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien, you can join as a CAP Senior Member. CAP offers many avenues of volunteer service for senior members, including:

  1. flight operations,
  2. communications,
  3. training and mentoring for cadets,
  4. aerospace education, and
  5. volunteers for community outreach, media relations and administrative responsibilities.

Young Men and Women (Cadet Program)

The CAP Cadet Program builds strong future citizens for young men and women, ages 12 to 21, by providing:

  1. leadership training,
  2. technical education,
  3. scholarships, and
  4. career education

Civil Air Patrol offers more than $200,000 in college scholarships each year, and about 10 percent of each year’s freshman class at the U.S. Air Force Academy is comprised of former CAP cadets.

Sound interesting? Come join us! Our general membership meetings are held every Thursday evenings, except holidays, at 7:00 PM at the base of the control tower at Castle airport. If you decide to join the squadron, a CAP member will walk you through the application procedure and will answer any of your questions concerning CAP.
